Creative Direct Response, the worldwide leader in direct-mail fundraising, seeks a graphic production artist for its Bowie, MD. office. Come work in a fun, creative environment!

The production artist will conceptualize, design and create innovative and creative direct-mail packages for national and international nonprofit organizations. This individual will be responsible for the preparation and output of direct-mail packages (e.g., update job codes, flow copy into direct mail templates, output artwork to printers), attend internal and external meetings to brainstorm new ideas, assist other designers with current workloads (as needed), and mock- up packages for presentations.

• A 2 or 4-year design degree preferred.
• Qualified candidates will have a well-maintained creative portfolio.
• Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in CS3 ( InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), Quark 7 and Microsoft Office is a must.
• Experience designing direct mail packages a plus.
• Web design, e-media and other internet-related design experience is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to work independently within timelines provided as well as in a team environment.
